The following features are implemented in SKZ ShBM:
- continuous determining of the milling ability of a ball mill (BM);
- prevention of ball mill blockage by the material being milled;
- optimization of the milling process by obtaining information to control the feeding of material into the ball mill at such degree of loading of the ball mill which ensures the highest possible performance;
- significant reduction of costs for electric energy to mill 1 ton of the material;
- increasing the life of the ball charge of the mill and reducing the wear of the BM armor;
- monitoring of the grinding material supply to the inlet and outlet chambers of the ball mill;
- information, which is necessary for operation diagnostics of the ball mill (amount and condition of the ball charge, the state of the armor, the state of the partition);
- unified current output signal on the fill level of the mill for automatic control systems for the grinding process.
